This podcast was inspired by the greatest resource in education; our students. I found student-voice to be surprisingly absent from educational podcasts, and so "Speaking with Students" was born.
My hope is to highlight student experiences and elevate student voices in casual, but meaningful conversations with former students. Engage in the themes and concepts of each episode, driven by the real, live reflections of students.

The Spotlight: Speaking with Students kicks off with inaugural guest, Anthony, as I hope to get his perspective on what it is like to step into the spotlight at such a young age. Anthony was a wonderful student from the first few years of my teaching career, and a student I still stay in close contact with years after his graduation. When conceiving this podcast, I immediately thought of Anthony, and about the opportunity to ask him questions we'd never really discussed at length. I am eager to hear about the ups and downs of a ubiquitous leader. What is it like to grow in the spotlight throughout high school?
